On Friday 21st July I visited Milliner House Care Home, chatting to residents and staff about what life at the home is like, being shown around the communal areas and resident’s bedrooms – and even getting a chance to visit to in-house pub.

It was brilliant to hear about the team’s holistic-focused approach to care and the positive response they have seen in Residents demeanour, happiness and confidence levels as a result of this.

Being a carer is hard work but also incredibly skilled work. The genuine care, love and empathy for the Residents was evident and the team are true professionals who go above and beyond for each and every individual. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent at Milliner House and look forward to returning again soon.
