Who I am

I am the elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Luton North, a constituency covering the neighbourhoods of Limbury, Lewsey, Leagrave, Sundon Park, Marsh Farm and Bramingham. From the next general election onward I will also represent Stopsley. I was elected in the December 2019 General Election and have worked hard to represent our town ever since.

What I do

It is my job to represent my constituents at a national level and represent their concerns in Parliament. I make speeches in the House of Commons Chamber, write questions to Ministers and attend meetings everyday with a hugely diverse number of people from across the country. I also vote on new laws, which in Parliament is done by physically attending either the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ lobby. You can find a record of my votes here. In addition to this, myself and my team are also able to assist with a multitude of other issues such as housing, immigration and asylum and benefits – also known as ‘casework’, see here for more information.

You can also write to me if you would like to share your thoughts on a particular local or national issue that you feel strongly about. Though we receive a large amount of correspondence every day, myself and my team read every email we receive and endeavour to respond in a timely fashion.

Due to a strict Parliamentary protocol I can only assist or make representations on behalf of Luton North constituents.
