Luton and Dunstable University Hospital has been in need of new facilities for decades. Thank you to Kyle for showing me around the new under-construction wing – which will contain a brand new Intensive Care Unit, neo-natal Intensive Care Unit, separate bereavement services, isolation wards and more. There will also be a much-improved space for the Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Charity shop!
Though long overdue, it is good to see this investment in Luton’s hospital provision and I look forward to seeing the new wing up and running in 2025.
