Days following the Indian Supreme Court’s judgement to uphold Modi’s further eradication of Kashmiri rights – I spoke at a roundtable in Parliament, reaffirming the need for Kashmir’s right to self-determination to be realised and heard more first hand testimony about the situation in Kashmir – afterwards I spoke with international media about advocating for Kashmiri human rights in Parliament.
Kashmir remains one of the UN’s longest unresolved conflicts and human rights abuses – ongoing human rights violations and oppression in occupied Jammu and Kashmir are a grave concern for all who value international law, and is very important to many of us in Luton.
